Dr. T.K. Anne Dinhluu, D.C.
Clinic Director and Chiropractor
Dr. T.K. Anne Dinhluu - (Dr. Anne) - has been a practicing chiropractor for more than 10 years. She graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1993. Since then she has worked as an Associate Doctor and Managing Doctor before deciding to open her own practice in 1998. Dr. Dinhluu is the Clinic Director and Chiropractor of Pacific Spine & Sports Institute. There she specializes in pain management, sports rehab, and preventive care. Dr. Dinhluu prides herself on being able to provide her patients with the knowledge and care they deserve to lead a healthy lifestyle and return them to their maximum functioning capacity.
Dr. David Karaba, O.M.D.
Board Certified Acupuncturist
David K. Karaba, O.M.D is a California Board Certified Acupuncturist with Pacific Spine and Sports. He treats a wide variety of conditions including: musculoskeletal pain, allergies, infertility, metabolic and hormonal deficiencies and imbalances, hypothyroidism, chronic illnesses, weight loss, athletic sport injuries, stress reduction, neuropathy, past emotional trauma, and stroke related issues. He utilizes a variety of modalities including acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, allergy elimination, cupping, herbs, nutrition, lifestyle counseling, bodywork, and therapeutic exercises.
Dr. Karaba's specialization in acupuncture arose out of a love of sports and personal experience with the healing benefits of acupuncture. Playing football, soccer, baseball, and running track in high school and further playing collegiate soccer provided extensive personal experience for sports enhancement and rehabilitation through integrative medicine. Dr. Karaba has also volunteered his time as the team doctor for the PDL (Professional Development League) Southern California Sea Horses.
Dr. Karaba received his Masters and Doctorate degrees from South Baylo University School of Oriental Medicine. He currently is a member of the National Guild of Needle Therapy and is a commissioner for National Oriental Medicine Accreditation Agency and an active member of the Foundation for Acupuncture Research. He has also contributed to several books and publications including Chinese Herbal Medicine and Pharmacology, Chinese Herbal Formulas and Applications, and the nationally recognized Acupuncture and Electroacupuncture Evidenced Based Guidelines.
Outside from his clinical practice, Dr. Karaba lectures extensively to the general public, fellow acupuncturists and medical doctors on various topics including the history and development of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, the scientific and physiological aspects of acupuncture, pain management, arthritis, stress, infertility, Hashimoto's autoimmune thyroid, and other disorders benefited by acupuncture and integrative medicine.
In his leisure time, Dr. Karaba enjoys playing soccer and skiing in the winter. More importantly, he has been studying, playing, and occasionally teaching Tai Chi Chuan for the last 18 years. This marital art is a way to get both physical exercise and mental relaxation simultaneously.
